With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. David Ukena has been voted Springfield’s Best Dentist the last 12 years. He has been practicing general dentistry in Springfield, Missouri since 1989. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has been a member of the Missouri Dental Association and American Dental Association for three decades. Dr. Ukena has served on the local and state level dental boards for 10+ years, and he served a term as president of the Greater Springfield Dental Society.
Dr. Ukena specializes in family dentistry and has built lasting relationships with his patients and their families, performing a wide array of dental care for all family members. From pediatric dentistry to cosmetic, Dr. Ukena enjoys helping all his patients have a healthy, beautiful smile. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and dog Wilson. You can find Dr. Ukena out hiking on a local trail or near the water with a fishing pole in his hand when he’s not in the office.
